Each one of us is here to learn, grow and to neutralize our karma. This is what cyclic existence is all about. You go around on samsara’s wheel until you learn the lessons, right the karma and progress closer to liberation and enlightenment. The Buddha was a man, a human being like you and me, not a god. He found the middle path, his middle path to enlightenment and liberation. Such was his profound attainment, he was able to understand that there are many paths up the same mountain and that we would all spend many lifetimes on these until our middle path unfolded properly and lead us home. This is the fundamental reason why we should not criticize another spiritual practice or way, but simply smile and allow it to be. These people are on their path up the mountain, this is where they are up to. Who says they are right, who says you are right? Right, wrong, higher, lower; these are all just perceptions. There is no such thing, just the mountain to climb and the path up it you find. Perhaps the climb could be made easier if we were to all lend a hand to one another? Namaste.
